Comet Leonard 2021 A1
My Comet Leonard 2021 A1 Page

My best shot of 2021 A1, Comet Leonard to date was shot back on December 2nd when it was still a northern hemisphere prominent comet in the morning sky.
It was cloudy on the day when the comet passed Messier 3, but it was clear the day before so I captured the comet as it approached M3.

Some comet images (2021 A1, Comet Leonard) from yesterday {December 9th, 2021} morning with the Canon 60Da Astrocamera with the 80mm f/1.8 and the Canon 75-300mm Zoom Lens.
The comet is now in the murky morning twilight. These images were shot around 5:30'ish as morning light was entering the north west sky.
This is probably the last time we will see this comet in the morning sky. After the 15th we should see it rising up in the evening sky.

Awoke at 3am to image comet 2021 A1, Leonard. It was totally cloudy
At 5:15 it began to clear and I pointed the scope to where the comet should be.
About 10 minutes later it appeared on the screen. I began imaging as clouds rolled by.
Then the winds picked up and I was getting 25mph gusts according to my weather station.
I kept imaging anyways hoping a few subs might turn out.
These images were shot with my Astro-Tech AT8IN Imaging Newtonian with a coma corrector in line with my ZWO ASI071MC Pro.
Mounted on a Losmandy Titan in my Skyshed POD.
